Wanna know How To Get Your Blog Noticed?

Then Let’s start!

How To Increase Blog Traffic

Now, I am gonna show you some strategies on which you can get your traffic increased. These things require a little bit hard work. Keep in mind that you can’t achieve anything without hard work. Here are the ways to increase blog traffic:

1) First Get A Good Design

A good design attracts visitor’s attention, and it makes comfortable for the visitors to read your blog.

Make sure; your blog has a good design. If you’re using WordPress then getting beautiful themes is not an issue for you. You theme should be:

  • Neat And Clean
  • Comfortable to read
  • According to your blog

Well, there are many good theme providers. Adeel Sami is using Genesis framework on his blog. I also recommend Genesis by Studiopress.

2) Content Is King

This is the phrase that every marketer, SEO, and blogger are aware of. If you don’t know about this line, then you can’t call yourself as a blogger.

Content is the main component of a blog. The visitors are visiting your blog because of your content.

Before promoting or starting any strategy, ask yourself “Do I have enough content?“.

First, write some relevant articles which you think that your visitors would love to read.

I think you should have at least 30-40 posts before promoting your content.

Be careful about one thing, never write thin or articles with little content. In early days of SEO, people tries to write at least 300 words on every article. Then, people changed the minimum length and started writing at least 500 words. Now, everyone is trying to have minimum 700 words per article.

Never focus on the word count, your article should look natural and complete. An incomplete article is just like uncooked food. 😉

Word count depends on the type of article. For a tech news or a short discussion, an article of 500 words looks okay. But, for an in-depth tutorial or article, you can extend it to more than 1500 words.

Yeah! your article should look natural and interesting.

3) Do SEO like a MASTER

SEO or Search Engine Optimization means to improve the ranking of a page on the search engines to get better results.

SEO is the most important skill that every blogger should have. Well, SO depends on upon different factors.

You can’t learn SEO by just reading a single article. It depends on the experience and knowledge.

A blog without SEO is just like a fish without water.

Well, I think everyone should spend at least 1-3 hours daily for his blog. You can’t imagine when the competition goes change. SEO is just like a game. But, in this game, everyone gets a chance to rock.

I use several SEO tools which include Keyword Planner, SEMrush, HitTail and many other. SEO tools just help you to do the tasks a little bit earlier, but you can’t depend on them.

4) Target LOW competition Keywords

Well, every blog has a low authority in starting. That’s why beginners have the following problems:

  • I can’t rank higher
  • I can’t find low competition keywords
  • My blog doesn’t have backlinks then How can I rank high?
  • How can I get organic traffic without backlink?

Let me answer all the above questions.

How can I get traffic without backlinks/authority?

This is the most SIGNIFICANT part of this article. If you follow this part, then you will get your traffic boosted.

First, the thing is that the number of backlinks you need to rank on page number one in SERP (search engine result page) depends on the keyword. If you got a keyword which doesn’t have any competition, then you can rank easily for it without a single backlink.

So, the goal is to find low competition keywords. Imagine if you find a keyword which doesn’t have any competition but that keyword has some searches like 300. Then you can get ten visitors per day. If you find ten more keywords like that, then you can get 100 visitors per day.

Let’s do some math:

10 x 10 = 100 visitors per day. 100 x 30 = 3000 visitors in just a month!

Now, the question is how to find the low competition keywords?

It requires time and research. Keep doing research until you find the gold mine of keywords.

There are thousands of ways to find your good keywords. I would tell you a simple and useful way in which you can find the keywords which are useful.

The method is: Stealing Your Competitor’s Keywords!

Your competitors are a great helper for you. If you found the keywords on which your competitors are ranking, then you can also rank for that keywords. This is a great way in which you can get good keywords without hard work.

First, create a list of your competitors. These domains should have statistics almost equal to you. You may compare the DA (domain authority of the domains) to make it sure that they are not too much stronger than you and not too much weaker.

When you complete your list then reveal their keywords using any SEO tool. SEMrush and Ahrefs can help you to reveal a domain’s keywords or rankings.

It is the easiest method for you to find the keywords which you can easily rank.

I use SEMrush to reveal my competitors’ keywords.

5) Keep Doing What You’re Doing

If you stop working on your blog then man you’re doing totally wrong.

In starting, everyone has to work hard. I recommend spending at least 1-3 hours daily for your blog.

If you are creating content, then publish a post 3-4 times a week. If you’re promoting content, then do it naturally. It depends on you and your strategy.

Some people stops their strategy just because they don’t get results. I think you should never give up.

If nothing is coming on your mind, then do the thing that comes first.

Well, I have shared you the strategies that you should follow to increase blog traffic. Summary of this article is that:

  1. Get your blog completed.
  2. Create content that everyone love
  3. Do proper SEO
  4. Keyword research is the backbone of traffic
  5. Steal your competitor’s keywords
  6. Keep working until you get thousands of visitors.

Now, get ready and start working on your blog. Your journey to visitors is not very far!
