When Social Media Dominates SEO for You

How Social Media Dominates SEOYes, it is very correct. Social media can easily dominate SEO for you and of course for your blog site.

But … That is not an easy task.. for sure. And indeed it is uncomfortable during the initial phase of managing social media for yourself and for your blog site if not understood and done right.

You’d then want to know what caliber it is to reach in order to having social media dominating SEO. I am gonna cover it all with real examples actually.. the real persons for whom social media is working so well than SEO.

First of all, let me clear up some more descriptions about how SM (social media) dominates SEO (search engine optimization).

Concept of Social Media

Social media is reaching to the social platforms (you know them, right?) where people from different continents, countries, religions, cultures, and interests meet up together.

The best bet to use social media to really enjoy your time developing working relationship with the people to only target for the same interests than any random people with off of your interest(s) radar.

You with social media as your interest + Other person with social media as interest = Good if not great!

You with social media as your interest + Other person with sports as interest = Bad…

Concept of SEO

SEO is not actually a concept, it is the strategy with long processes to follow and evaluate the results time to time. But it includes one primary area of focus which is to target the relevant strategies to work for the nature of your blog site.

In case you have focus on link-building, reaching out to the relevant sites as yours will have higher chances your comments (make sure quality, to the point, and not looking like as a pure spam) will be approved even tough you already know the blog owner or not. The key is RELEVANCY.

How Social Media Really Dominates SEO

Simple enough you are reaching to the people, helping them directly with their queries, interacting almost daily, befriending with them on different social platforms, sharing their content and helping them grow.

Real Examples of How Social Media is Dominating SEO

First off, a little intro is required before I reveal the faces of those rocking the social media which are helping them with their blog sites’ SEO.

It is all about networking and making connection with folks around the inter-web and social media is really a good kick-starter to get things actually started. Like branding yourself, promoting your blog site, inspiring people, learning what’s working, and the list does not stop … ever!

It is somehow seems hard in starting phase when it comes to social media and networking with the people, but that is somewhat easy to be recognized by the right audience than SEO. Not that SEO is not entirely required once you’re good at social media world or even at start but SEO should always be in your strategy.. with everything when you write.

Okay, now it is time to reveal the faces of those great and awesome people. They helped me, helping me, helping you and helping everyone … to grow! I am blessed to have them called as good friends I ever found through the social media and not sure if I could ever get connected with them only through SEO.

Add them up on your social life… if you do want to have yourself grow!

Here it starts revealing the great personalities!

Hi Adeel,

Let me start first by thanking you for the kind mention, along with other blogging friend’s πŸ™‚

Good to see all familiar faces, and so many from the ABC as well! Coming to the post, I liked how you distinguished between SEO and social media, and yes, if you have a strong social media presence, I don’t think you need to worry much about SEO. You gave so many examples of bloggers, as mentioned above, and that’s true because SEO isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

More over, with the changing trends, one really doesn’t know what really works in SEO any longer! By the time you get the hang of the present situation, it changes again! Honestly speaking, I have never used any SEO paid tools ever, though I do practice SEO ways, but it’s all the very basics – that’s all. I guess I am proof enough that without SEO strategies, your blogs can work. But without social media, I wonder where I’d be.

It’s all thanks to social media and the reach one has on various platforms that we tend to make good friend’s over time, which happens once we visit their blogs, comment, and share their posts, isn’t it? Have always done that and it’s worked for me and a lot of others I know.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Have a nice week ahead πŸ™‚

Hi! Adeel bro,

First of all, Thanks for mentioning me in this post. I visit your blog often and today when I headed towards your Blog, this post attracted me.

When I start scrolling down, I have noted that You have mentioned some great names in blogging, Most of them are familiar to me… I was just wondering about being mentioned in this post and At the Last I felt WOW!

I am already Mentioned! πŸ™‚

This just made me smile, in the morning. Thanks again Adeel for valuing me and other bloggers from the Blogosphere.

Near to me, Blogging is not just about ranking higher in Searches. Although it’s also very imporant but Social media have it’s own importance with respect to Traffic.

According to a Recent study by Shareaholic, Social media drive 31% of the Total traffic to the websites and Facebook covers most of its part with 24.39% of Traffic is being referred by Facebook.

So, If anyone want to succeed in Blogosphere, He should never neglect the Importance of Social media traffic. As Blogging is all about Values and Core Values, and It’s about Building Networks and building connections!

Sharing this post on Twitter and Facebook, although it’s an Honor for me to do so πŸ™‚

Hi Adeel,
Sorry to say, but I do not agree with this heading. “Social media dominates seo”. Both of these thinks are different. No one can dominate another. When social media gets instant traffic whereas SEO gets us a regular flow of traffic. The flow of traffic we cannot earn through the social media that we get from the SEO.

To see the result, Just stop to work on social media for one month or at least 15 days. You will see the sudden fall in the traffic. Social media is good for branding and reputation building, but it will never dominate the Seo.

Hey Adeel,

Wow, what a pleasant surprise to be mentioned here in your post as some of those who are dominating social media. I’m always so very flattered to be mentioned so thank you for that. I know a lot of these amazing people who you’ve listed right there with me and I will have to agree with you.

SEO is not my area of expertise but I do know that it’s important. What I do also love is how social media and the sharing of other people’s content can help us show up in the search engines. So sharing content on social media, making those necessary connections and referring those we admire to our friends and followers is huge.

The funny thing about this is the moment I stopped worrying about SEO is the moment things started working out better for me. I mean we do want to be found everywhere right! Social media gives us that opportunity to connect with others and build those relationships with those who may not already be visiting our blogs. That’s big!

Thank you for this post and again for the mention. You just made my day and a great start to this new week. Have a wonderful week Adeel.

Hi Adeel

There is no one that can look down on Social Media because it is a place where you can meet people and connect with them.

I think that SEO and Social Media are both important and while SEO is a long term benefit, Social Media can make promote your personal brand or business if done right.

I want to thank you for the mention and for adding these awesome personalities who I know and follow their work.

Thanks for sharing. Have a swell week, Take Care

I’m an avid social media fan not just for SEO but for getting to know others in my niche. Social Media is also one of my own main blog topics. I find onsite SEO tedious and apart from using Yoast SEO for basics that’s about as far as I go.

You’ve introduced a lot of new people to me here, thank you. I’ll enjoy reading their updates and their blogs. Those that I do already know are excellent.

Hey Adeel,
Some great tips. Some other suggestions to build a personal brand is to always sign your comments and do so in the same style (I.e. Middle initials), and try to use the same profile picture. This will help people identify you when they come across your digital properties.

And an impressive and interesting information, each time I get more knowledge to this blog and enjoyed to read once again!

Hi Adeel,
It is also important to make sure you get links from relevant sites in your niche, it wouldn’t be advisable to get links to a technology blog from a fishing blog because the search engines will begin to become suspicious of your site thinking you are already practicing some shady tactics. Thanks for sharing and I really enjoyed to reading this article.

Thanks for sharing…! I agree social media and SEO is almost the single element that you could not separate in to two different.

The social media networking is the best to engage is your readers and build stronger relationship with them. It help to present your business, your blog.

SEO is long term strategies which help to improve more presenting and getting more readers. However, the most important thing of blogging is to interact with your readers.

Again, thanks for sharing,…, that is a nice article

    Hello,

Yeah, I do remember leaving my blog URL in one of your post on Instagram! πŸ™‚

Actually, it is the era of building up relationship with the people, not with search engines. The more we are connected with the real people, the farther the reach we will have to convey our messages (in our end, our blog posts.)

Too glad that social media is helping me (and of course everyone) building up great friendly relationship with the like-minded people and even so glad I connected with you!

And thanks for that! I am glad to be following you on IG! πŸ™‚

Hey Adeel,

Social media surely dominates SEO now more than ever. It’s all about interacting with the real human beings and not with the crawlers. Social media is a great platform to make your own brand while helping others to grow. However we can not diminish the importance of SEO too. A perfect blend of both can work wonder.

Thanks for sharing about all these dominators of social networking. Take care and have a great day ahead πŸ™‚
