Wow, I am nuts? I kinda feel it time to time but I think I am not nuts in this particular situation where I say content is really not so enough.
Again I am saying that content is definitely, really and especially not enough for your blog.
Okay, I know it is required. Better say content is the foundation of yours blog but really is not something enough to be proud of and to get settled with.
Okay, let me say, I meant write something.
Content is essential for your blog because we blog to express our feelings, our expertise, our tips & tricks so that the person in need can get utmost benefit out of it. To actually solve their issues and problems with our content or even get them inspired.
But seriously the content is nothing other than just a content.
Let me put something in details.
Because it is. It’s just like nothing but anything and something up on your blog.
Content is going to be just one thing, one basic and fundamental thing. You can assume that content is like a foundation, steeled-pillared foundation where concrete has to pour in to start shaping the building.
When I say a blog is like a building, it is a never-ending and never-completing building and does start with content. And content after content makes the foundation to build up and strengthen up.
The more the content you put in, the more it makes the building to look good and at the beginning you have to invest more and more to make the foundation become strong enough.
So, this is why the content is just about anything. It is just the foundation though. It is necessary yet just one thing counted in your building (blog).
Without the readers, what does your content serve? Why it is even there? Who reads it other than yourself or probably your family members or a few friends or again just yourself on the first day and any day?
If that so. If that’s the case you’ve been experiencing with your blog like no-to-less people are reading your content then you’re at risk, my mate..
You have to try/change the blog types. Flow in blog post ideas!
Plain simple. Do what few people do but with some moderation. Less in the quantity but highest in the quality.
Some note-able ideas for blog posts type I observed which I did just one time and only one idea:
Yeah, it does work like a charm. Do mention someone. Probably his/her last or any blog post which you liked the most. Write up a related blog post over your place and at the relevant point, stick that blog post. And when published, send that person a shout out through social media sites where you see him/her active with the message that you’re mentioned on my this blog post.
What does it do?
Higher chances that person will land at your place to give in his/her valuable feedback and to have it shared over his/her social media accounts as well. So, lucky enough that you’ll get some chunk of their audience coming to your place.

And you can do one or many blog posts from many bloggers. Your choice!
That’s the one idea I did for myself which was successful. That move made me penetrated into the circles’ of both great and friendly bloggers.
Okay, this type of post should NOT be used to spam them. We are not here to spam the fellow bloggers but to make friendly relationship. Appreciate them, appreciate their work, their blogs, their blog posts, their design and anything that inspires you.[Tweet “Do something remarkable for fellow bloggers and leave the best impression.”]
And in this case I observed to come up with weekly or monthly posts. With it you can feature three, five, seven or ten blog posts which you read in a week or a month and that helped you this much that you’re compelled to share with your own audience. When up, do inform everyone who got featured. And see the magic!
Okay, not it is the paid reviewing post for one or few tools but just the tools which you use or you think are beneficial for others to use. Such tools may help them with their blogging journey, SEO, focus, social media, self-improvement, etc.
For example, I loved the blog post from Vishveshwar on Sue Anne’s blog where he nicely covered 50 tools for pro bloggers. And I don’t think anyone will deny to share it with each other. What do you say?
Now, when it is published, target the few developers who created the tools through social media sites or their contact page from websites to let them know that their tools got mentioned in your latest blog post. With this, some will definitely come in and shout you out.
When you are related to the tools (must try to be relevant like if a blogger, you mention all the tools in the sense how they will benefit other bloggers), it makes a good impression for the developers and you may get the chances to be featured in their testimonials, blog posts, success stories, and anything you name it with higher chances to get freemiums, trial versions, promotional products, complimentary giveaways, etc..
And then this leads to another phase of new targeted audience who are users and fans of such tools.[Tweet “Your current audience’s shout out + possible tools providers shout you out + tools-rich hashtags on social media = New targeted audience”]
Such posts get shared and re-shared due to containing a lot of information about different tools which people would like to try if not all but some.
That’s different than mentioning. You go on and feature his/her journey, your friendship like how it started and when it started, his/her work, services and anything related to his/her profession.
This indeed works. By featuring someone, you’re knocking hard on starting the friendliest phase of the relationship with that person.
And who denies to be featured anywhere?
So, thinking about the name to feature on your blog? Take me if you don’t find anyone instantly. 🙂
When up, shout that person out. It surely will land you many people when gets shared by the featured person, right?
Ask one or series of questions from group of people.
For example, I have a question about blogging and I send it to like 50 bloggers and in return, I get 20 answers so I feature every one of them in my next blog post with the questions and individual answers. Then I send out the link to every one of them to let them know they are mentioned. 🙂
So, this type of blog post has potential to actually be shared by those 20 bloggers, isn’t it? Given the estimation of 20 shares, it can lead into more shares and re-shares from the audiences of those 20 bloggers, correct?
Conduct an interview. I am not going into details because you may already know how valuable it becomes and how much people love to read an interview.
But there are some guidelines from me:
a– Related person to your topic of blog.
b– Reach them out through their contact form and not through public post up on social media. Email is better because it gives an impression to the person that you gave him/her importance and you’ll get likely have the chance to conduct a successful interview.
Interview posts get shared by the person who got interviewed and it will give his/her audience the perception to read something more about the person. So, a new chunk of folks will stream in to your blog post.
It’s the new thing, a new style of content. Team up with some excellent folks and get your podcast out. If you already do it, that’s so good. If not, think about adding it in your strategy.
I don’t as well but plan to do sometime sooner. But when it comes to be teaming up for your weekly, fortnightly and monthly podcast, you have to have borrowed some time out of other persons’ schedules.
Plan it in advance. Check with the person who you interest to invite to the podcast session. Okay, this can be done through Skype so most of the time, you are good to run it in the virtual worlds.
When you send an invitation and your plan is to keep the podcasting going for long, ask if they are available for the series of podcast on this and that schedule. And discuss the topic and timing in advance. This is not the HoA (Hangout on Air) session so you can record it in advance and release it later.
Just my instincts that 90% people will accept the invitation. Me either because who wants to turn down such opportunity where you will be explored by the new audience with your voice and share your views about the topic of podcast in real time. 🙂
Okay, this is new and an idea, a creative idea actually.
This I spotted at Rohan Chaubey’s place where he answered one of the question fired from his reader at this post.
With Q&A idea, let your creativity spill around you. It is relatively different from Expert Roundup thing because, as per Rohan’s idea, you can ask readers questions and transform them into blog posts. I am so sure Rohan have had gotten many. 🙂
This type of blog posts could comprise upon asking your readers the questions, schedule weekly or monthly blog posts to answer one question per blog post OR you can ask questions from your readers through blog posts, newsletters, polls, contact forms, etc. and answer them one by one OR anything you can think of.

You know that everyone has different understanding, different thoughts and perceptions for the same things, correct? So, this kind of blog posts are to express your feelings, your hatred, your likes, your dislikes, your grudges, your anger, and everything about the word term(s) you are going to cover per blog post. So, word it all with your own thoughts.

– Affiliate Merchant
– Blog Network
– And many many many and many more.

Let me tell you something…
Social media world is a big fish or a sea or better say an ocean. Authoritative and non-authoritative, influential and non-influential, celebrities and common persons, CEOs and housewives, doctors and nurses, youngsters and new-born babies, even almost everyone online has social life setup and running on social media sites. And of course booming time by time and day by day.
With this online social revolution, we gigantically have limited our outdoor lives (so sad), our sporting activities and have gotten ourselves struck into PCs, laptops, smart phones, tablets, gaming consoles, etc. and these technological peripherals are destroying what — our real social life.
Okay, I am sorry I am not going to actually debate/write/converse about the technology’s bad effects on our social life. It is not me actually because I love the technological boom in this time as I live in a very small village but I am connected with the great folks like you living anywhere and everywhere in the globe. So, why should I defame the technology while it is giving me never-ending benefits?
I seriously won’t.. won’t defame it at all.
I am actually here to debate on the centric key point of social media’s boom on lives of bloggers. I meant how they can retain their online presence through social media accounts and how social media can give an enormous boost to their relationships with their audiences to further develop and strengthen up.
Like everyone else, we as bloggers do have our accounts set up to capture the like-minded people walking up on the social media sites to find the information. The information of any kind and as bloggers, many may cover the same niche/industry/field. So, it is vital and evident that traffic from social media sites can take a route to run on our blog’s pathways.
But what if we are not really on social media sites?
Okay. Expect to not get your chunk from social media sites. Mind it..
With this scenario in mind, people consume the information, leave the comments as an appreciation and share on their social media accounts. And hopefully that target person may become a referral trigger to send in more like-minded people hungry for the information whom can repeat the same process as the first target person and the cycle might continue, right?
In this situation, we as bloggers need to reciprocate the same act through our social media accounts we embedded into our blogs to stand firm in social media world. And that is very recommended.
I will tell you a bit later.. just a second.
Because they must have to. They should be.
By manning your social media accounts for your blogging journey is an evidence that you’re serious. Adding a personal touch in every single reply to your audience on social media accounts makes them to believe you’re respondent, caring, friendly and more on that you’re building up a positive impression in hearts and minds of your audience. Like you’re sticking deep in their thoughts.
This affirms the returning and crafting your audience into loyal ones in the long run.
Yeah, that’s the question with endless answers. The few notables points I observed for myself are the following to do better at social media accounts on daily basis:
As I told you earlier, the answers could vary person to person but these are just some very basic ideas I do, will to do and observed over the time.
You know that we put our social media accounts there on our blogs for some reason, isn’t it?
